We are located on Grand Island, which is located directly between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY in the middle of the mighty Niagara River. This makes it an ideal location to explore the Niagara Region. Our home becomes your home away from home while you are visiting. Your hosts Alan and Michael became innkeepers after their many stays at B&B's all over North America. We wanted to create a place travelers could enjoy as if it were their own home. We have decorated the rooms in subtle restful colors with sumptuous fabrics and beautiful artwork to make our guests feel special. The space itself is very upscale and comfortable. You get the impression a lot of thought and hard work has been put into this B&B. Comfortable bed and a well-designed bathroom, which I always appreciate. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. Alan offers a generous amount of complimentary wine, beer, etc. Delicious morning breakfast with tons of food options. The location is right off the river and very scenic. I'd never been to Grand Island before, and it's a clean little laid back community, almost like Canada. Plenty of parking. Lots of paved walking & biking trails. Would definitely stay here again!

After graduating from high school David was trained as a chef at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. During their years of ministry serving small, rural churches the Hamers were self-supported, working seasonally as a hospitality couple at some of the most distinguished sporting and destination lodges in America. Now David and Carolyn provide exceptional lodging and memorable cuisine to appreciative guests that come to their Upstate New York bed and breakfast from across the nation and around the world. The Hamers Pastor a church that meets each Sunday morning at the lodge. They also oversee a multi-faceted ministry out of the lodge that includes River Spring Records and Truth Quest Studios. David and Carolyn also host ministry events to encourage and strengthen church leaders while mentoring others that have a call to ministry. Recently River Spring Lodge was honored by TripAdvisor as a Top 25 small inn in America and the highest rated bed and breakfast in the State of New York.

Guest rooms are well-appointed with some offering soaking tubs and walk-in showers. Continental breakfast, snacks and beverages are complimentary. Each guest room is also offered a complimentary parking spot for one car.

When you are through exploring the beach, dunes, wineries, or our 30 acres of farm, gardens, woods, orchard, and river, you can step into your private retreat. All of our 8 Inn rooms feature handcrafted bed frames of local tree branches, luxury linens and mattresses, private bathrooms with double jacuzzi tubs with showers, and gas fireplaces.
