i can surf the internet as well as play video/audio from my pc at the same time. all this from the same computer. it requires no physical cable to connect to an external device. the ntu 5450 not only supports ntsc but also pal. so, will any of you be able to try this out? i will surely be thankful to you. i couldn't find a mention anywhere on the internet regarding this.

if you have never used the f-keys before, just hit tab to switch between them. you can define macro buttons for any of them: i have the following bindings for channel up and down, btrsc on/off, pip on/off, recording start, recording stop, playing. you can also bind special keys to macros. you can add them to a new blank key for the f-keys. to bind a macro to a key, first select a blank key and then choose the appropriate macro name from the drop down list.
a couple of days ago, my tuner stopped working so i had to use the pc. now, even though the tuner works, the pc has a problem. i checked the tuning but it was working fine. i then upgraded to v2.x and the problem was still there. then i upgraded to v3.x and the problem also vanished. however, i have to keep my pc turned on every day. this is not ideal since i am now recording seven channels at the same time. so, i decided to back up the old tuner and replace it with another model. after the replacement, the problem happened again. then, i got a email from stb. it said that they had tried to contact me on the phone. after they failed in doing so, they did not try again. the email stated that i should never use the same tuner again. i think that they meant to say to never use the same tuner again or from stb.
